October 2002 * Sounion (Attica, Greece)
These backlit columns are what remains of the spactacular greek Temple of Poseidon - the ancient Greek God of the Sea - which stands overlooking the Aegean sea on three fronts, at the end of the Attica peninsula. High above the sea, this site is extremely windy, yet this temple has stood here for about 2500 years.
